WORSHIP MINISTRY
Purpose And Vision
The purpose of the worship ministry at Crosspoint Friends Church is to lead our church body corporately to the throne of God through the power of Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and to worship Him and give Him the glory and honor He deserves for all that He has done for us.
As lead worshipers, we strive to connect with God to the best of our abilities and to provide a time of worship that is Spirit-led and Spirit-filled. Our goal is that worship be a committed and passionate time drawing near to God as He draws near to us, and that we are always mindful that we worship a God who provides us with unconditional love and forgiveness, and who desires to be in a right-relationship with Him.
Our music draws from a variety of styles, with modern, high-energy worship at its core. The primary principles of the music we play is that it is Christ-centered, theologically sound and culturally relevant (with an eye on the present and future).
Ways To Be Involved
There are two ways to be involved in the worship ministry at Crosspoint Friends Church. The first is to be a member of the worship team as a vocalist and/or instrumentalist. The second way to be involved is to be part of our audio-visual team, running sound or video for the worship services. Both require a level of experience and competency, which will be assessed should you desire to join.
